Version 1.0:

Version one was entitled 'Angels' because I am such a sap. It didn't really take that much work to achieve. I was playing with the colours and saturation on this picture of Nero and Kyrie then added a scratch texture and erased the DMC4 logo. The colour scheme is rather simple, I like grey, in fact I really love it and then I decided to use contrasting bright colours in my CSS.
This was one of the first div layouts I have made meaning that the coding is very wishy washy and I more or less substituted things until the layout came out how I wanted. This probably means there's a ton of un-needed HTML here, but at least it works!
As for the images and title of the layout Devil May Cry four is coming out very soon and that is currently all I can think about. Despite my iffyness on Nero's character that image more than makes up for my doubts about him and it is one of the cutest things to come out of the DMC fandom. The title comes from a lyric from the Devil May Cry 4 song 'Never Surrender'. I have taken them rather out of context by suggesting that Kyrie is an 'angel' fallen from heaven to save Nero rather than a 'fallen angel' as the lyrics probably intended. Seeing as I love the juxtaposition of angels and demons once I had the idea I couldn't remove it from my head X3

Version 2.0:

This is version two, which doesn't have a title. Then again, it doesn't really need one, I simply used a lyric from the song Shall Never Surrender. This layout features DMC2 Dante looking incredibly badass :D There's something about Dante's silence in DMC2 which could almost be called sinister. With his somewhat older looks and dark eyes - at least in the CG art - it really does look like he's been through hell and back.
The layout in itself is fairly simple, heavy amount of grey yet again. I think white red and grey/black is one of my favorite colour schemes. And one png which I simply repeated, resized and desaturaded. It's a nice grungy look and I like it after the last layout's rather airy one.
