Like most people my age I am obsessed with music. This obsession began when I was around 13 and since then I have filled up my ipod with over 500 songs. When I find an album or artist I love I will listen to it non-stop for weeks. My taste in music has developed quite a bit and also become rather sporadic. I generally tend to prefer emo/goth/rock songs, but I fit under none of the afore mentioned steryo-types. The most important thing for me in a song is the lyrics. I love stories, and a song which tells a beautiful angsty story will win me over almost instantly.
The music on my ipod playlist ranges from Disney to System of a Down and some other random things in between. I am always searching for new songs and artists to fall in love with, a heart-wrenching ballad will get me just as much as some screaming rock song. I've recently become obsessed with Jrock and am searching for more of it to add to my ipod.
My one true regret is that I have absolutely no musical talent whatsoever. I was never pushed into learning a musical instrument and never persevered with one because of that. One day I hope to learn to play the guitar, but what with school-work that still remains a dream. Still one day it may change.
